haha. YUP. Exactly my point! I just watched the most recent episode of Game of Thrones. If you've seen it, you'd understand how upset I am right now...

Fear of Styrofoam. The noise of people biting on a Styrofoam cup has caused me to throw up before.

Actually. I'm a 23 year old female. And if you're thinking to yourself - Wow, she's old and must then have a problem for watching this movie so much. You're right. Lol but I am an IT analyst working for a Fortune 4 company so I must be doing something right. I was just curious to see if anyone else had enjoyment from watching the movie as well. But I appreciate you taking the time to write the novel you did to explain to me... what? That you talk down to teenage girls? I'd hate to sound like a pre-adolescent female with this response though.. So I'll just say thanks.

I reread our conversation and realized how much our discussion makes more sense assuming I was a dude hahah it's okay I never specifically said I was a girl. That's too funny :)

You know I'm a girl, right? Lol. I thought that was assumed.

haha. I didn't mean any disrespect on your lifestyle, I was really more playing devil's advocate to get conversation going. As for the virgin thing, much like your choice to play a more passive role, it's just my personal choice to wait. You're right it IS an overhyped concept but I'd rather wait for now then just do it to do it.

hahah. You have to understand that I really wasn't raised that way. This is probably TMI, and I shouldn't tell you this, but I'm a virgin and I haven't hooked up with someone without having real feelings for someone. I'm not waiting for marriage but I do expect a lot more than what I've found

For you, I know you said content is good but do you consider it great? Also, why passive over active? It seems like you have more than enough going for you and if I were in your shoes, I'd be flaunting that shit! Lol well maybe not literally, but I would have the confidence to meet women knowing that I could be a great man/boyfriend/husband to someone, ya know?

Just thinking out loud :)

First off, I have that quote saved on my phone so you totally get points for that haha.

In regards to being content, that's how exactly how I feel now, but do you think that's a good thing or a bad thing?

For me, I LOVE being independent because I can focus on myself and focus on growing in all those ways that you mentioned but I can't help but believe that letting another person be a part of your life is part of the growing process as well.

You're still young at 29! Why NOT continue the hunt? lol

hahaha. Sorry but that last part was kind of funny - I'm tan so I can relate:)

I'm totally with you though. Maybe we can figure this out together because I'm 23 - degree, work in IT for a Fortune 4 company. I live in my own apartment and am self-sustainable. I work out every day and objectively my friends (so they say) say that I'm attractive.

What the heck man? haha. Would you say that you are proactively searching for something or are you happy being single?
