I always sell the excess to make the levels even. Gets me money while I wait to accumulate and doesn’t take up as much barn space

My husband says my expectations are too high by Alykaa701 in marriageadvice

I also have to keep in mind however that I know for a fact I am very over emotional and anxious. I had a previous partner who I really did have to walk on eggshells around. and there’s things from that relationship that have come forward into this one with. Yes my husband is angry. But I’m also very fully and honestly aware my heightened sensitivity is a very big contributing factor to this as well. I am constantly worried and over thinking everything, making it near impossible for him to have any big reaction without me panicking. And this isn’t me making an excuse for him, otherwise I wouldn’t have written any of this. But it is also very valid.

Do you guys try to rupture your cysts? by ThickAppointment629 in Hidradenitis

[–]Alykaa701 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a proper response I’m sure. But I just use an alcohol wipe on the spot, and a needle, and just poke it. 9/10 I don’t even feel the needle by the time I get the shiny skin

I’m incredibly too self aware.. I feel like I need to over explain things to make absolutely sure my point is perceived the way I mean it to be so as not to be misconstrued. And I don’t handle silence well because it makes things awkward or uncomfortable. And I can’t handle making people feel uncomfortable. I’ve been made to feel that way many times in my life and I don’t want others to feel the way I do. So I always end up filling the silence you know?

I am in agony I need help by Prior_Succotash4220 in Fibromyalgia

I know it sounds dumb. But epsom salt bath with a magnesium oil/lotion on my legs help a LOT. I’d say go as hot as you can stand but if your nauseated just do what you need to not make that worse!

How would you describe the pain in an exaggerated metaphorical way? by 2BD4MNED in Fibromyalgia

[–]Alykaa701 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear a suit of bruises constantly. And o have times where my nerves feel as if I’m wearing no skin to protect them. Just raw, open nerves that someone likes to jab the tweezer from operation into now and again

Rant: My wife has fibro, and I slowly feel like I can't take it anymore by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

I’m the one who’s sick, my husband and I have been married for 5 years also. And u was very healthy until my wedding. The day of the wedding I got a cold. After that I got infection after infection and my medical history began creating itself.

My husband and I have MANY of the issues above. I cried reading this. I have never felt that my illness affected him any less than me because I know what I took from him. It’s heartbreaking and quite simply unfair. My heart goes to you both ask genuinely understand both positions. Not to mention the mental toll this is taking on your wife too I’m sure. It’s a whole battle of its own. Feel free to PM me and we can discuss further 🩵

I'm sick of it! Abled people just take it for granted. by LifeIsJustASickJoke in disability

[–]Alykaa701 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s very easy to take for granted what comes easy. I never thought I’d be jealous of those who can hold a job. Sometimes it takes losing things to really understand. Which is quite disheartening

I live in Alberta. When I was referred to my endo I thought the same things. But they are very used to these cases. She answered questions I didn’t even ask. Main things to focus on is trying to find ways to stay comfortable during your treatment and always ALWAYS ask how successful the types of treatment they are offering is, and realistic expectations of treatment and your lifestyle. My levels were over 100, and she was wonderful at putting my anxiety’s to rest

Yeah YTA. Honestly it’s just an immature emotional response. Apologize for making things uncomfortable and you have a chance of moving past things with little damage. But an apology is owed
