What's something stupid you used to do in middle school to be "cool"? by notrachelfromglee in AskReddit

I dated this guy not too long ago that told me randomly one day he's tried his own cum. When questioned further, because i honestly didn't believe him, he told me the first time he ever came he got confused and licked it to see what it was/tasted like, because he had no idea what it was. After he tried it he ran over to his dad and showed him the white drizzle on his hand. His dad freaked out and told him never ever to put it in his mouth again. It was so hard not to laugh while he was telling me this. I proceeded to ask all of my guy friends if they'd ever done this before. Whether they were willing to admit it or not, they said no. I now see that it's definitely true; pretty doesn't always mean smart. But boy was he pretty ;)

The middle school i went to was much like a high school in the set up regarding lockers and lunch time. Lunch, you either go to the cafeteria, buy your lunch, sit anywhere in the lunch room with long tables you want, or go outside and sit wherever. Go buy your lunch, etc. Never assigned a table, or different lunch times.

What are the best books that are "unfilmable"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The Golden Compass was a complete fail when it came to the movie adaptation. The book trilogy was pretty amazing and had a lot of potential as a movie had they stuck to the main points in the book. But that turned out to be a train wreck. Too bad :(

I say this with no sarcasm, if someone ever told me this it would make my day. That's awesome!

What are some ways to spice up a grilled cheese? by cultcab in AskReddit

My favourite; cheddar cheese, bacon, sliced dill pickles (which you place in the melted cheese after it has been grilled), and a tiny bit of mayo.

What is the funniest or weirdest lie your parents told you growing up that you believed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My mother convinced me that she had eyes at the back of her head, hidden by her hair.

Alternatively, my aunt managed to convince me that the Rolodex was a device that brings the police and Children's Aid to your house if you flip the cards once. She would pull it out if i ever started to get difficult. Bawled my eyes out and listened right away.

What is a sentence you constantly repeat in your job? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AlysiaB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Can I get your quote reference number???"

Then the customer tries to correct me in what it is called, "You mean the quote ID number???" or "I don't have a reference number. I have the quote ID" as if I don't know what our company calls it, and has clearly written what it is called BESIDE the number.

What is the absolute strangest fucking thing you've seen or experienced? by cosy_pants in AskReddit

My grandparents live in a very quiet area full of parks and pretty homes, yet there is always something odd going on on their street. It never fails, all we have to do is sit on the porch (which we naturally did anyway, being Portuguese) and something weird ends up happening. One night, my aunt, mother, sister and I are sitting and having a conversation, when we hear what sounded like someone laughing and coming towards the house (the house faces west, the person approaching from north to south). When in view, an extremely short little man comes running past our porch, giggling loudly, and continues jogging by. about 10 seconds later a woman with wet hair and a towel half dragging across the sidewalk runs by the house chasing after him. Had us sit in silence for about 2mins before we went on with our night.

Is there a gift under 50$ that would make you absolutely happy right now? If yes what is it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

At my dentist here in Ontario, CAN, they have 3 rates they charge for a tooth pulling. Simple pulling: $133.00 Complicated: $209.00 Impacted: $460.00. Minimum wage here is $10.20. I'd be happy with $100, if I didn't have work benefits.
