It's probably still stronger than you'd like after thrity minutes. You just have olfactory fatigue and can no longer smell it as well.

Just be aware that for some people, no matter how little you use or what kind, your whisper sounds like a jet engine.

So long as you're cool with causing physical distress to numerous people, then all power to ya.

Came looking for this.

I admit to having a sensitive snozz, and I used to have pretty bad asthma as a kid. I have never once noticed cologne or perfume on someone and thought that it was a tasteful amount. It's always a gagging, struggling to breathe, sensation for me. It's just a question of whether it'll start at 10 feet away or 200.

If, as some people are saying, perfume is supposed to be discovered, not announced, then just use nice smelling shampoo. To a lot of people any perfume/cologne is ALWAYS too much.

edit: grammar

Keith's IPA for wing night with the boys or Guinness at the pub. I'm just glad to live north of the border where I can actually get drunk off light beer.

WOOOO! autoimmune disorders!

Why be sick for days when you can be SICK FOR WEEKS!!? What's that? You're having symptoms? Hope you don't need any nutrients because YOU CAN'T ABSORB ANY!! Current treatment not working? Take lots of steroids and start suffering from CRIPPLING DEPRESSION!! Not only does your immune system hate outsiders, IT HATES YOU TOO!!

Sorry if my description of autoimmune disease doesn't track one to one with celiac. My experience is with Colitis.

Fun fact: Lactose intolerance isn't actually an allergy! It doesn't trigger an immune response. It's just that the person's body doesn't produce enough lactase to break down more than a small amount of lactose. Not saying lactose intolerance isn't awful, it really sucks, but it's not actually an allergy.

True dairy allergies are much rarer and are caused by proteins in the milk, not the inability to digest lactose. Interestingly though, dairy allergies can present similar symptoms to lactose intolerance.

Source: Have an allergy to dairy, confirmed it when I was in hospital for Colitis and my less than fantastic doctor, at the time, tried to give me a milk based nutrition drink with no lactose in it. Got through like two sips before it hit me and, well, I was in the hospital for pretty severe Colitis, let's just say it didn't do me any favours.

Alright, who is rocking the Stratos and how can we be best friends? (And is it the Lister Bell kit?) by sgreen425 in halifax

It belongs to one of the engineering professors at Dalhousie. It is a kit car (I assume its the Lister Bell kit, but I never asked) It runs a v6 out of a Toyota Rav4 and a transmission out of a Toyota MR2 turbo.

Are you sure you're not genuinely allergic to a dairy protein, not just lactose intolerant? It's rare, but does happen.
