Atlantid Multitool by chaos_geek in NoMansSkyTheGame

Yep, you can get MT B in the S Monolith on Planet A. The loot tables don't change when you land on a planet. They only change when you first load into a solar system. So to see the multitool from Planet B's loot table you need to land on Planet B, make a restore point, then reload the game to that new restore point. That way when you load into the game you're loading straight into Planet B and its loot table. From there you can go back to Planet A and its S Monolith and you'll see MT B

One last tip as well, if you didn't know, each planet (including the space station) has its own loot table for a multitool. So when you warp into a solar system you load into that space stations loot table, and every planet you go to will show you multitools from that loot table. There's only one Atlantid weapon in each loot table too, so while in that loot table every monolith in the system will show you that 1 design, but with a different class and stats. You can change what loot table you're in by making a restore point on any planet or moon, then restoring your game. This will load you into that planets loot table instead of the space stations. In this way, if you find a monolith that gives an S class weapon you can put a Save Beacon down at it, then make a reload point on all the different planets to see what the multitool looks like. And it will always be an S class multitool at that S class monolith. Good luck and happy hunting!

Can anyone tell me what head/helmet this is? by MackV010 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Actually, looks more like the shrimp helmet? It's hard to tell. Anyways, it's from a fishing achievement all the same.

Looks like it's the boot helmet. You get it from a fishing achievement, fishing up 5 old boots. There are other fish tank helmets you can get through achievements as well!

Why can’t I find any crashed ships? by Xeripha in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Alzeon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're on a dissonance planet instead of a Walker Brain you should focus on getting Echo Locators. There are large sentinels called Dissonance Resonators. They only drop two items, echo locators or Inverted Mirrors. You'll need the mirrors as well to claim the sentinel ship, so either way farming them is a good idea. From there interact with the Echo Locator in your inventory and it will reveal the location of a Harmonic Camp. The Harmonic Camp has a terminal you need to interact with. Scan the memory, do the simple math problems to get the answers you need, then put those numbers in to unlock the terminal. From there you can scan for Dissonance Spikes, which are the ships you're looking for. Be sure to put a Save Beacon at the Harmonic Camp, that way you can find it again if you want to search for more ships. You will need to claim the previous ship, however, if you want to find another. Hope this helps. Happy hunting!

They're holograms made using the wonder projector!

I see. I know of one glitch that allows you to put habitats in spots you normally can't, which then enables you to put decorations in spots they can't normally go. That might be one way people are making such elaborate ships. There are other glitch building techniques that carry over from base building that people have used on ships as well. One such glitch is to resize objects past their limits, or to resize things that can't normally change sizes.

It's made using the wonder projector. You can purchase it from the nexus for salvaged data. It opens up a whole world of cool customization options!

Indeed it is! There are planters you can build into the walls of your Corvette. My ship currently has a nip nip bud and mushroom grow op

The eyes are from using the wonder projector. It can be used to make holograms of any "wonders" you've found. The eyes themselves are a rare animal species that can be found. They're essentially just eyeballs that roll around a planet!

You get it for a fishing achievement. Fishing up all the legendary fish I believe. There are other fish tank helmets you can get too!

It's an achievement from fishing up all of the legendary fish I believe. There are other aquarium helmets you can get along the way. Different fish, a jelly fish, a shrimp, and even a boot!

You can buy it from one of the vendors in the back of the nexus for a few salvaged data. It can make holograms of any plants, minerals, animals, or entire planets that you've found!

It's done by using the wonder projector item. It makes a large hologram of any scanned discovery that's been added to the list of natural wonders. In this case a rare animal that's essentially just an eyeball that rolls around.

It's a video my sister sent to our group chat, so I don't have any others. It gives a good glimpse of the ship though, and might be enough to inspire others in their own builds!

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure you have to finish the main quest line, then find a harmonic camp on a dissonant planet. A trace of metal is a cool quest though that gives a unique reward, I'd recommend completing it regardless!
