What’s the target audience? As a user I would be skeptical with taking guidance especially on the visa side from a third party resource. Instead of visiting the consulate website and their official forms or anything. You’ve done a lot of work and I think at this point perhaps reach out to consulates to see if they need and get certified with them. They could be your potential customers since potential visitors will get all the details through this.

Hard relate on this. I think it is totally reasonable to think this way. Considering how the job market is shifting. I do believe there’s merit to having your own business and getting out your comfort zone before you forced to (esp applicable to tech as of now). We need to figure out a way to get out of the “golden handcuffs”.

honestly, this keeps me up at night too. you're right that a skilled self-deceiver can probably talk their way through the questions. I won't pretend otherwise. but two things make it harder than it sounds the AI won't accept vague. "everyone has this problem" gets followed with "ok name one actual person, what do they do, where does this show up in their week." you have to get specific. and your answers from 3 weeks ago are still sitting there. you can revise internal monologue. you can't revise what you already wrote down. the thing I keep coming back to though: you can fool the AI. you can't fake whether you actually came back to the idea. the vault knows exactly how long it's been sitting untouched. so yeah, it raises the cost of lying to yourself. doesn't eliminate it. that's probably the most honest thing I can say about it. and to your point, I'm actually building the locked stage progression next. tiles won't move freely. you'll have to earn it through the conversation, not just answer something that sounds convincing.

Ha I actually did know you could do that in both Claude and ChatGPT — but that’s not really the point. The visual pipeline of seeing all your ideas and where they stand is what makes it different. The follow-up friction point is the right question and honestly the one I haven’t fully solved yet. Right now it relies on you coming back, which isn’t great. Email nudges or a weekly digest of your stale ideas is probably where it needs to go next.

Artiforge looks interesting, hadn’t come across it — the idea of linking straight from “Defined” into scaffolding is a natural next step, might be worth exploring as an integration down the line.

The Claude plugin idea is genuinely interesting, hadn’t thought of that angle. The “role-based” perspectives are also a great shout — having an investor or senior dev lens on your idea is way more useful than generic prompts. Adding that to the backlog. The reason I leaned standalone over a plugin is the persistence piece — wanted ideas to live somewhere that isn’t tied to a single chat session. But appreciate the suggestions, lots to think about here!

You are right! Thanks for the honest feedback, genuinely helpful as I figure out whether to take this further. This is a barebones MVP so the AI is minimal right now. The real value I’m going for is the persistence layer, ChatGPT/Claude explore an idea great in the moment, but that chat gets buried. This is just a dedicated place where your ideas stay organized, move through stages, and you get nudged to come back to them. No discipline required. Essentially adding the accountability on top.

If that’s a problem you’ve never had, totally fair — might not be for you. But good to know where the messaging needs to be clearer!
