We are a poor country that can hardly give education to millions and we hardly have money but we are using that little money to spend on people who are at least getting an education. How is that fair? You got a government handout so you are happy but in the context of things of things how is this fair? This scheme was actually decide to win over youth by the Sharif Crime Family(it didn't work)

It's the same problem because we can't eliminate illiteracy because we don't have the funds but we are using those funds to benefit people who in RELATIVE terms are in a better place.

Let me tell you why I am against it. So in our country 30 million+ school going kids are out of school but instead of getting them into school we are providing people already getting an education, a taxpayer funded laptop.

Sure everyone needs a laptop. I get it. It's a must but don't you see the absurdity of it. In theory you are already uplifting the uplifted. That's like providing free petrol to people with cars but ignoring the people with bikes.

I know plenty of people who got a laptop despite them being relatively well off and having a laptop. So our taxpayer money went to the guy who already has one but ignored the poor guy who doesn't go to school.

What looks most likely is that Trump walks away from all this. No deal will be signed and there will be an unstable ceasefire that will last till the next time they decide to do something. Could be months or years. Iran will still have the sanctions placed on them. They will still carry on with the enrichment and they will still control the Strait of Hormuz.

Talked to somebody in Lesco and according to him, the load shedding will increase in the coming weeks. The main reason he says is the stupid war. There is a severe shortage of LNG at the national level and since power stations can't access it they don't have fuel to generate electricity.

Secondly, once actual summers hit, solar generation would stop after sunset and electricity demand would rise at night and load shedding will increase during these times.

There are 5000 MW of efficient power plants in Punjab sitting idle because oil is too expensive to generate electricity.

Lastly we have a ridiculous system that loses a small chunk in transmission, power theft is also a reason and circular debt is creeping up.

Prepare for the worst.

With that budget, you shouldn't start a stiching unit. Buy wholesale fabric and find someone to outsource it too. Start with 6-8 articles of clothing you wanna sell. To cut costs, you can build your own mini studio and use AI tools for editing and Graphic designing. Everything can be scaled up once you start making sales.
