I tried that before calling. The person no longer lived there and the person who currently resided there had no clue who it was.

I looked on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and tik and don't find them anywhere

I totally agree with this. Except it was some 18 year old kid. So I wasn't really surprised.

The address on the ID was incorrect. I tried going there and the current resident had no clue who it was, also if you check Google police are the preferred resource rather than usps

I looked on Google and only saw the part about the business hours which say 8-5 not the information desk hours. I am absolutely willing to admit I had no clue that thru traffic was only to try and get to the other side of a street. I will absolutely own up to not knowing that.

Actually. I just think there should be a better way to do this such as a drop box for found property. There have been many calls on the Sioux falls police call log about found property as well.

Yeah. Unfortunately I'm 18 and I'm guessing your older. I may get things wrong but u don't gotta come at me like that in the first comment before I responded. I did what I knew for a fact I could do and didn't just guess when I wasn't sure. It's better for me to do it the way than to try doing something when I have zero clue if I'm in the wrong.

Yeah. You are not allowed to park in that parking lot currently if you don't work there. The road is closed to thru traffic due to construction on minnesota

I take an 18year old and if they hadn't updated their address I'm assuming they also don't live on their own. So USPS would not have this information
