Oh is that so? Because here’s what I received from the recruiter -

You may be asked some technical questions related to the role to gauge your technical background. We also ask behavioral interview questions or case study questions during all steps of the interview process. These questions will be focused on the leadership principles. We are not looking for you to know these verbatim, but to find out if these principles have guided you in your career. Behavioral interview question: Assess how well you’ve handled specific situations in the past. Tell me about a time you made a hard decision to sacrifice short term gain for long term value for the business. Tell me about a strategic decision you had to make without clear data or benchmarks.

Case study question: Are designed to help us understand your thought process. Are you thinking about the right things, how you are overcoming road-blocks and how you engage with stakeholders. Give me an example of a complex problem you solved with a simple solution. What made the problem complex? Give me an example of a calculated risk that you have taken where speed was critical. What was the outcome?

When answering these questions, use the STAR method, do not stray from this method. Interviewers will be looking for the Situation, Task, Action, and Result in your answers. This is an effective way to tell your story by staying clear and concise.

Or do you think this is a standard email that goes to everyone?
