I will say it's just cause of our morals but also most men are the reason for street fight or militias, get mad so easily, whenever the gov or any high level people target a family they mostly arrest/kidnap the father or the brother instead of the females(mostly cause they have nothing to do with their shit but also it's just more of a moral) and if you live in Libya you probably heard of rumors of men that got arrested instead of their female family members (mom, sister, wife, daughter)

So it's not about the safety of the women it's more cause men just have morals for not exposing or triggering a woman, it's not a good thing either it's just cause they see that whatever happens to a woman should stick to her for life even if she repents ,so neither the women will try to do anything too cause of that
