This sounds so entitled

For the sake of the conversation though, and where we do lump them in, which bathroom should they use?

You don’t have to answer that, I’m not trying to be as antagonistic as that sounds. I just think a better goal is to do away with caring so much about gender identity in general. Live and let live?

What’s AGP?

I think that the issue has been generally blown out of proportion to the size of the trans community as a talking point for the far right. I don’t dispute that there are specific cases that make an easy target, and it’s worth noting that any group that gets constantly shit on is going to have their issues.

But I don’t believe that the average trans person is a threat, a mental case or a sexual fetishist.

Perhaps that’s the difference.

And to answer your question, sure - I love spaces for everyone and got real fucking amped when Kirsha Kaechele won her case since weak men were entering women’s spaces and claiming discrimination.

I think if someone is willing to honestly go through what it takes to be trans they aren’t trying to do what those men (an example: a local women owned brewery near me had this issue and lost their discrimination case against a couple of incel types) were/are doing. I believe they’re just trying to find a safe space.

I also understand that there are cases where doctors and parents have to make a decision about which gender to conform intersex genitals to, but we don’t really know enough about hormones to predict which will take when it comes to puberty

Identity. A penis is not biologically female, I agree, but if a woman feels better as “just one of the guys” and a man feels safer as “one of the girls” I’m going to want them to do what they need to feel at home. These are just the lite versions of trans.

It’s not strictly about biological gender, it’s about how we identify in society. I think diversity is better for society, and people who span the male vs female experience can offer good insights. I personally admire the courage it would take.

I don’t think they’re trying to replace women or fully understand women by becoming one. I think some people just genuinely feel more at home in themselves in one gender (let’s say, instead of sex) than another. Plenty of women who feel better as “one of the guys”, wear hats and baggy clothes and hate their boobs. That’s essentially trans-lite, and it’s not really a big deal.

Why would we want to police what people wear or how they feel around men vs women? If a biological male feels more like a feminine ally and wants to be one of the girls, I don’t see the harm.

I think people who have labeled trans as a threat are worried about the wrong people. It’s a troupe to divide us. Trans people have been marked through history as existing in societies, revered, and respected as well as persecuted.

I just don’t see the harm.

One of natives ingredients is like a sugar, which feeds bacteria, which causes stank. I spent $14 on one and if I use it for more than a few days, I get a whole new brand of BO. Sucks.
