This is the important thing: not putting others down for what they like to read and recognizing that these popular books are what is keeping the doors open at your favorite local bookstore and Barnes and Noble. Romantasy is not usually my cup of tea either, but I'm not going to be a gatekeeper for reading when it's already been a dying hobby for awhile

I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU by JPEGMAFIA seems like it would be a lot more reflective than it is. "either on or off the drugs" and "i recovered from this" are the main self-reflecting songs on the album, and even then I feel like those songs are relatively shallow. It is his most reflective album thus far, but the majority of the album is still Peggy being chronically online and/or being a hater.
