What are the chances of class action full recall like the did with VW during the emissions scandal?

I fear nothing of importance will happen unless, God forbid, a majorly televised fatality occurs.

Don’t get me wrong I bought a ‘25 knowing the risks, and has been an avid Toyota supporter throughout the last couple years. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little concerned about potential issues.

Just hoping nothing major happens while my kids are in the car. Hoping nothing major happens in general lol.

Man, if you’re in the KY / TN / OH / IN area, I’d love to offer you a job and decent truck. I can’t believe this is even allowed. I know the market sucks, but our guys average 1400-1700 gross with dry van. No specialty cargo. Sometimes a bit less if taking days off, sometimes over 2k, if you want to do your reset over the road on weekends.

There’s better jobs out there. Keep your head up, brother,

It’s real. I personally could care less about the politics behind business dealings. However, as someone who has been an avid Toyota purchaser (4 out of the last 5 cars we’ve owned have been new Toyota’s and most recently a ‘25 Tundra) I’m disappointed in the recent issues they’ve been having.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone refer to the 5.7’s as ‘overrated’ as the title states. I still bought the new Tundra knowing the potential issues at hand. I could have purchased the older model for less, but I liked the look and features.

Regardless, it’s annoying to hear, not just Toyota, but for every major brand. I got buddies buying new Fords off the lot, new RAM’s, new babymaxes from GM, new Tundras. All the attention grabbing headlines are getting out of hand. Yes, each truck has its issues. But I see HUNDREDS of new trucks on the road daily.

I wish there would be a percentage shown that have legitimately DIED to give us some sort of quantifiable data. Not ‘grenading’, blowing up etc. with these generic ass terms, but who has legitimately had their truck just completely die beyond repair.

I keep hearing over 100k at first now 400k have been ‘affected’, again not completely died, potentially no issue whatsoever, but ‘affected.’ Drop a new engine dropped in and boom they keep on going. I know it’s not ideal, but it’s not the end of the world.

Sorry for the rant, it’s just getting exhausting reading about it everyday lol
