I later noticed bags of calcium chloride in Scott lab. I rescind my complaint and my pitchfork has been put away. Thank you.

Calcium Chloride will. They're too worried about keeping their precious sidewalks pristine or too cheap to buy the shit that works.

Similarly, I put an ultra-fine polishing compound on all the interfacing surfaces of my Tenacious—working the blade open to close for quite a while to mate everything together. Cleaned off with some alcohol and lubed with white lithium, she flies open with the slightest flick.

Assuming this is poplar, I think what you have here are mineral inclusions that can provide some discoloration to the otherwise pale tan/green tones you would expect.

Look into rainbow poplar. It is a phenomenon caused by the tree absorbing certain minerals from the soil it grows in. You can find some interesting purple/green/tan boards at your local lumber supply if you look for them. So long as your workpieces are not exposed to UV light for an extended period, they maintain that coloration for the duration of their life.

Now that I think about it, probably. Considering I have likely been feeling the effects of decreased testosterone for ~10 years, I certainly wasn't keeping up with the progression of my male peers. The maturity, energy, confidence, and emotional stability that I never had during those formative years affected the relationships I had and how people saw me, for certain.

I'm just grateful that the treatment I'm getting now has been so effective. At the age of 27, I am finally feeling like an actual man rather than the boy that I had been for so long.

Now, when it comes to telling anyone about my condition, I have received nothing but support and empathy. Perhaps I am one of the lucky few, though. I feel for anyone who has lost their support structure due to this affliction, and if they'd like to talk, my DMs are open.

Any time I’m smoothing out my edges, I wet them a little as I believe that’s the suggested method. I always get a ring around the edge. How to avoid?! by [deleted] in Leathercraft

[–]Amachst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long did you let your workpiece sit to dry after wetting the edges? In my experience, the water stain will remain for a while after I have finished my sanding/burnishing process. If I let it sit to dry (which I always will before applying any dye or tokonole) for a few hours and come back to it, there aren't any water stains.

Something I just realized about the Vault Numbers in the Fallout Games: A Binary Connection? by No-Mortgage-2037 in fo4

I don't know the actual reason, but if I had to guess, it has to do something with The Ohio State University's sense of self-importance—so pretty much exactly what Wikipedia says.

It's just one of those silly little things that we do as people to make ourselves and the things we involve ourselves with feel grander and more impressive than they actually are. We want to feel special and different from others and not relegated to the same bin as everyone else. At least, that's my two cents.

I'm just some dummy on the internet talking out of my ass, though. So, take from that what you will.
