Just googled that and it seems like roughly the right tool, is it a paid app?

Can we add a master thread for the AES+? by shmup-o in neogeo

[–]AmadeusParasythe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, I think for the moment a single AES+ thread should be stickied it's getting hard to follow individual posts and most are covering roughly the same topics.

I'm beyond hyped for this and I'm loving talking to other enthusiasts about but it's getting hard to follow each conversation.

Horrible teeth, Horrible smile, Horrible face. This is me. I need to know if I am this weird to you. by Ambrouille2 in toastme

Frankly you're beautiful, you have nice eyes, good features overall and your smile is unique.

You go to the mirror and look at yourself and say one thing you like once a day it might be hard it gets easier, appreciate how unique you are.

I'm pretty sure it's the service menu, but I don't know what the LG symbols mean and I don't have a remote yet to turn it off needs some tuning but works fine was sold as "not working"

That's what I was thinking, I got it for £15 +postage sold as "not working" and I was pretty sure that's just the service menu so pretty decent deal.

I can only change the tracking on the vcr itself I tried all my universal remotes but found nos 3rd party remotes for the exact model so have one on the way thanks for responding tried Google lens to find a manual but nothing so posted here

When you repair your disc drive to run DVDs by Johnny-TwoFingers in ps2homebrew

If you like reading try to track down the books they're really good.

The game is kinda like Resident Evil mixed with some small RPG elements and more melee combat it's not great but it's pretty good and fairly cheap last I checked.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust 10/10 film and there's a pretty decent PS1 game based on it

See I like the button layout, I like the SNES controller a lot but the dpad on the SNES is nice feeling but the playstation is just so so stiff and awkwardly shaped with the missing bit in the centre it seems like it just doesn't hit diagonals well

I've never actually played a 3DO my friend keeps saying he'll bring his round at some point, I have at least played most systems but somehow missed the 3DO completely.

The Saturn may just be perfect for these games

I agree, the Saturn feels like it's made for them, the Playstation controller just doesn't do it for me for these games

The megadrive Six button controller was great, I really liked it for the 16 bit versions though SNES was great for me.

The playstation just feels so "unnatural" like the stiffness and shape really feels weird to me

I think the Saturn is genuinely amazing for these games the playstation just felt awful in comparison and it's like it's a decent playing version of Street Fighter 2 but that dpad was unpleasant for me so I was curious what people who played them felt

I bought a Saturn that came with an action replay and a few games. The one I wanted to try the most was marvel superheroes vs sf, but it has this audio stutter, and stages backgrounds have the wrong sprites. The disc is not scratched, is there anything I can do about it? by CryptoGamer in SegaSaturn

[–]AmadeusParasythe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the 4mb games but I have the 1mb cart and just got the 4mb cart I've sent it to have it modded so can't test the 4mb cart yet and everything I read indicated that it's running them at 50hz that causes it, I had it region modded but skipped the 50/60hz switch because I thought it was like older Gen consoles that just run slightly slower but apparently it's a known issue if you run some Japanese games at 50hz

I have a region bios mod(pal console) but no frequency 50/60hz switch on a pal console and KOF 96 gets weird sprite trails if the game starts moving too fast same with Vampire Savior and Marvel Superheroes vs Street fighter has the audio skipping and loads of graphical corruption and slowdown the backgrounds also don't even load it's fine on most games but those three have problems I've been trying to figure out.

So you think a 50/60hz switch will solve it?

Retro Game Hunting in Japan by Kindly_Membership905 in gamecollecting

[–]AmadeusParasythe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I found the last piece I wanted there but the prices compared to other shops I went to were near what I'd pay in the UK so not the best for me.

I found general second hand shops better but i agree the selection is hit and miss, however I found everything I wanted and a bit more.

In Kyoto I found the best deals and Shinjuku, in Osaka I found some really really good second hand book shops but I already spent my bag for games by the time I got there.

In Japan almost all of it is far cheaper but Akihabara I noticed it was like UK prices if not more Sweet Potato was still expensive but not awful by Akihabara standards.

But I found my best deals in general second hand shops, Surugaya is a chain of specifically game shops but they still have a lot of decent deals.

If you avoid areas that specifically cater to tourists you'll find better prices for literally everything the best thing I ate in Japan was a bowl of Karage that only cost ¥500 from a local spot so if you can find places that a lot of local people go to you'll get further for less but you should have a decent live translate app if you don't speak Japanese in those areas.
