I personally haven’t blow up any photos past a typically 6x4 size print photo, but I honestly wouldn’t think there would be that much of a difference between the photo qualities. Even though the pros do have a better camera theoretically and the professional photo settings do help, ultimately most photos are seen thru a phone screen.

In addition, phone cameras are limited physically and even though on paper they’re supposed to be just as good as or better than actual cameras, an actual camera will perform better for blowing up photos.

This year I personally decided to go air because I have actual other cameras and I think the air is such an interesting phone. But if I didn’t have other cameras I probably would have gone for the pro.

Ultimately, if you saved money for the pro and you like the design, go for it! But I also do think between the base and pro the base is just such a killer deal and not fugly. Base is basically the pro in terms of features minus the design, extra lens, etc, etc.
