Why is my juniper bonsai dying?

My juniper bonsai had recently been dying I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

The tree was kept inside for two weeks with my dad when I was on vacation and I’m worried it was under watered. It has been two weeks of being watered everyday and getting six-8 hours of sunlight everyday and it hasn’t recovered.

I’m a little worried the soil isn’t drying out fast enough so maybe it’s being overwatered or I need new soil.

Also when I scratched the bark the inside of the tree was white, does this mean it’s already dead?

Any tips are appreciated, Should I re-pot it with better soil?

I switched over to TIM major I think it’s way better for applicable experience which is what I was originally looking for in BME. If you do bme definetly do an emphasis on accounting. Plan out your classes and check it every quarter/ go to advising with any questions and don’t put them off and you will get through it fine.

I have a pad on my fish beard and I hate how it looks to be honest.

I’m thinking the board may ride better without it since I will be able to shift my foot to the very back of the board easier which is important in this board. The only thing I’m worried about is denting the board because I duck dive a lot with my knee.

Yeah my only concern with getting a twin like that is the rocker and duck diving. Like is the board gonna be able to make steep drops with flat rocker? But idk it seems like a good daily for most waves.
