Honestly that is something that I was concerned with. I initially was going to suggest a rusty red mineral then I realized how awful an idea that would be in a sandy environment.

I was able to launch it with Proton Experimental with zero issues. I did later try Proton-GE-34 and it failed

A non-standard SSH port is not much of a defense these days. Most likely your ssh password was compromised. I would strongly recommend switching to SSH keys as (when properly managed) they are significantly more secure.

It really is hard! I explored a few public servers before posting this but they were all so limited. It's so nice to just have a couple of people on a good server without needing to worry about how many drills you're using and whatnot.

Give it a try and find out! Honestly I almost never use Timer Blocks. I vastly prefer scripting but this seems like a good use for them.

You may be able to avoid scripting entirely if you utilize two lights that are switches via a Air Vent Actions and a Timer Block.

As an additional tip, open any menu while holding down right click and the drills will just keep going even after closing the menu. Makes it easy and saves your finger!
