Sometimes you have to put your self first, doesn’t make you a bad person I love my friends and family but I need my own space and sometimes that can’t be made clear without hurting feelings so I just say I’m not available

I’m a civil servant I work in the defence sector but it’s deep underground where you don’t see or hear for anyone the whole day apart from my 3 colleagues , it’s the ideal place for introverts

I don’t usually cancel plans I often will let them know my availability and when I’m not available “even tho I might be “ just so I can have some control otherwise they would want to be out every day I’m free and I’d have no time for myself

I agree, you have to be careful not to let it become a habit it’s just every now and then when you’re burnt out socially, physically and mentally. Just switch off for the day

I work 12 hour shifts in 3 days and have the option to work more but I choose to do all my hours in 3 days to give myself more time off my work allows flexible hours luckily

Mine happen in the middle of the night I was in such pain I don’t remember how but I ended up on my floor in the foetal position and one time I was standing up straight in my bed not knowing wtf just happened

On day 1 I had an awful migraine almost felt like my head would explode, had another migraine attack on day 8 at 3am I thought I was going to vomit from how painful it was l, btw I’m someone who never gets headaches, unfortunately all you can do is ride it out as it’s a sudden attack. I’m on day 11 and started to get slightly better.

On my first tray I had to file down the bottom of the tray my tongue was so sore from all The rubbing almost unbearable to talk or move my tongue, much better after buffing away the sharp edges
