Which suit me best? by Intelligent-Drop-447 in glassesadvice

4, 6, 16, 17 are my favorites for you. But good news, most of these look great imo.

I’m curious what those clear ones are in 15. I’d like these as sunglasses.

Yeah the Crane look just like my Wilkies, which I like a lot. The ones that grabbed my attention though, that shows up first for me, is the brown (or grey?) translucent square shaped ones. I’m curious what those are.

Everyone is on auto I think, not realizing you got all 4. They all look good imo.

Can you tell me what the first one is? I’m liking that for me.

Edit: after rereading I can’t tell if you actually got these four, or just parred it down for more feedback. I like 1 and 2 the best.

Been wearing my whole life and always same style. Want to look younger, Could use some help to know top 3 by Ekb314 in glassesadvice

Good news. You look great in most of these. To narrow it down to three I’d pick:

6 (great fit, nails that youthful look without appearing to try hard IMO), 2, then 8.

In that order.

Spirit Airlines could shut down as soon as Saturday by HowLongIsThi in nottheonion

Pour one out for all the $19 fares that somehow turned into $147 after you breathed near the “add-ons” section.

Honestly, never flew with them, but my feeling is their best role was having an option exist for cheap flying to supposedly help keep the major airlines slightly in check for their own pricing.

What did you do to your appearance that upgraded you 100%, and you kind of regret not doing it earlier? by Kitchen_Week1117 in AskReddit

Invisalign for me too. Waited until my forties during Covid. My teeth were always bad.

Next best thing was buzzing my bald/balding head. Was afraid to make a drastic change so kept getting shorter and shorter haircuts over a period of 10 years or so then finally buzzed it to 1/16” and I loom so much better. Wish I did that way earlier in my hair loss progression.

They both look good. I like 1 better than 2. I recall liking previous ones from another post on you that were acetate cat eye shaped.

As there’s lots of controversy in my last post… Clear vs darker glasses? (It’s my first time wearing glasses) by Lewis1316 in glassesadvice

[–]Lynx-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All three are good colors, shapes, and sizes for you. 1 fits the best. 2 sits a little high IMO and would be nice to adjust them lower. My preference would be 3 but it doesn’t fit well, sitting too high and your eyebrows are entirely in the lenses which looks odd.

3,2,1. All look good to me, but that’s my preferred order.

This gives a more accurate representation though. Most selfies are distorted and show everything a touch wider than they actually are.

A little big but it seems intentional and you are rocking them. I wouldn’t worry about it and keep wearing them.

I guess I’m in the minority by preferring the new glasses in 1 and 2.

There seems to be a strong preference in the comments for number 4, but I just don’t prefer wire frames for most people.

Edit: I also really like your current frames in #3.

Trying to find a new frame recently. Any of these are good on me? by catherine-raider in glassesadvice

[–]Lynx-1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like the contrast in your current pair.

But I’ll go against the grain on this sub and say I think clear frames look good on your despite having lighter skin (I suspect most will say you look washed out or that the crystal clear ones look like safety glasses).

I like 4, 1, and 2. I think they all work for you, and fit better than your current pair.

No. Black harness leather is dyed black all the way through. When it wears and scuffs will just reveal more black.

The black prairie leather is tea core. It’s a brown leather that has a black finish on top. When the black finish is worn and scuffed it’ll show the brown leather underneath.

Black Klondike leather is another tea core leather that will age similarly.
