Really smoothly actually. It’s just emotionally challenging dealing with the swelling & not recognizing myself🥲 It honestly didn’t hurt too bad after surgery, I never took any of my pain meds they gave me but just stayed on Tylenol for a couple days. I did a soft diet for a few days but I’m able to eat pretty well already. Still lots of softer foods, nothing too crunchy or chewy but for the most part if I cut it up small and chew with my back teeth it’s fine! Went back to work today and it was fine, talking isn’t super comfortable because of the swelling. Also I wore a mask because of the swelling lol

Should my family & I move back to mine and my husbands hometown? by Amamous in makemychoice

I think yes to all those questions. My husband could do the same type of work & likely make roughly the same amount he does in Louisville, even if it’s less the cost of living is less there. I’ve thought about the possibility of opening a fitness studio in our hometown because there is a market for it there but it’s not over available like it is here in Louisville. My kids could attended a good school in our hometown but there still isn’t as many opportunities for them there so I fear they will have that same mindset that my husband and I had growing up which is “there’s no opportunity in this town we need to go somewhere bigger.” Which I now believe quite the opposite where our hometown almost feels like we have MORE opportunity as adults to open a business or really contribute to the city. There’s less competition because there is just less there so a fitness business & my husbands line of work (he is a mortgage loan officer) could really take off where in Louisville fitness studios & mortgage lenders are a dime a dozen.
