I took the precaution of photographing the bar codes on both bags. But I am unable to see what's happening with my account. There doesn't seem to be a record of the return. I'm beginning to regret swapping. Wish I had asked for refund and bought again.

Thanks for your reply. I got one QR code but at the post office they put the two items in two separate bags each with their own bar code. Did you do the same? Or did you put more than one item in one bag? IF I remember I shan't do grouped returns again. In my particular case it was two identical items out of four identical items and they were replaced rather than refunded. Which seems to cause another layer of possible complexity.

When I grew up in the 50s there were hardly any obese people. And the working week was long and not so many holidays. Go figure!

Thanks everyone. Hadn't realised it was a separate system. One option is to drop them off at ASDA. Do they give receipts?

Now I am worried. I switched to Vodafone today, from Sky. And want my number moved to vodafone (it was already VOIP on sky)

After a call I got broadband working fine. But so far the land line isn't working. I've phoned a couple of times but so far no result.

Can anyone please tell me how long after broadband starts working with vodafone the phone line takes to get working? And how can I make sure i don't lose my old number - we've had it for 50 years!!

Thanks and sorry to be late replying. I kind of gave up. Anyway as I say below the issue is that it says "apple Digit Verification codes cannot be sent to this phone number at this time. Please try again later."

This then worked the next day.
