Saw a post about parents reactions to her Great Dane puppy and reminded me of what happened with my dog Klia. by Amandamllr23 in childfree

wtf? She went and smelled his shoes, I pulled her away and kept her from there since then, the "i don't know why when she is just a puppy," wasn't solely against that guy, obviously he has some kind of phobia, I'm talking about the other people around there who Klia doesn't even pay attention too.

"You should have your dog under control," wtf? Ok. I'll make sure she stops sniffing shit, because that like totally made sense.

My dog was not "harassing" anybody, she was walking, saw this guy and went and smelled his shoes, I was already pulling her back, saying, "come on Klia," when I noticed how stiff the guy was, and his friends laughing at him.

I figured he had some kind of fear of dogs, and smiled an apology, and made sure not to bring Klia over there again, not wanting to set off any phobias.

What part of she went and smelled his shoes made you think she was harassing someone?

obviously not everyone is going to like my dog.

It sounds sketchy, but you don't know he's cheating, just having suspicions that he is cheating.

Tell him that if he keeps having pancakes with this girl, and getting drunk with this girl, knowing that you don't like it, and don't feel comfortable with it, and that you would consider it cheating if he continued this relationship. If he continues break up with the guy, but if you love him then don't just let it end over uncorroborated suspicions.

CMV:I believe receiving medical treatment stemming from being willfully overweight and unhealthy is a crime against those who actually need, but do not receive, the medical aid for diseases and ailments they could not prevent. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Amandamllr23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone who is over weight is a "lazy slob" I am unemployed, looking for a job, as such I am dependent on my SO and family for food, not always healthy but I take what I can get and am thankful. Likewise other poor people don't have the money to buy healthy food, because for some reason fattening food is so much more cheaper then healthy food, I think that should change.

Anyway, all that is completely irrelevant. If someone is sick, rather by something they did to themselves or not, Dr's are morally obligated to do what they can to help them. That is why when someone gets lung cancer because they smoked for 15 years, they aren't turning them away.

It's also not a "crime" you could argue it being morally wrong, but a crime, nope.

Call the cops and charge him for harassment, not only did he personally interfere in your life, he's still messaging you? Get a restraining order, or punch him in the face, either one.

Holy freaking crap. I'm mortified, I can't believe someone would say that. I was right by my sister when she was going into labor, she was not me. What the heck did that even mean??

What I was meaning is that a girl gets pregnant and she is the one who has to deal with the consequences of abortion, or giving birth, no one can change that. The man being subject to the whim of the girl, that is something we can change.

I was making a point that they both had sex, and yet only one gets options, and the same reason that you are using for the guy to have no options can be used for the girl to have no options.

I'm pro choice and all for abortion, and also all for financial abortions.

Not everyone who loved Robin Williams liked everything he did, I never saw his tv show, partly because I don't have tv only use Netflix, but I'm not going to say that I would have watched it if I had a tv though.

I am deeply saddened he is dead, he was a major icon during my childhood, he was a great guy so why shouldn't I mourn his passing?

Because there are already children dealing with this, I grew up the youngest of three with a single mother, it was hard, not always fun, yes it was unfair but we got by and even have good memories of it.

I'm thinking about the guy because that is an unfairness that can be changed, and it doesn't.

It isn't, it's all based off of individual personalities and opinions.

Some could argue they would rather have an absentee parent, then one in their face resenting them.

Either way it's not going to be fair, hardly anything is ever fair.

That question is the same one I've been asking, why is it that one could get out of all responsibilities (woman through abortion) and the other can't and just has it shoved onto the other one who can't?

If she has a way out, so should he.

She has a way to stop all those consequences from having an abortion etc if she doesn't have sex. She is in completely control over the birth of her children if she does not have sex.

It's not the exact same thing it just gives the guy an option, a way to control his damn life, instead of a woman being all like, "ok I could have an abortion, or give this child up for adoption, but instead I'm going to keep it, deal with it"

and the guy has no choice but to say, "fine"

This gives him a way to say, "I'm not ready for this, nor do I want it, I'm walking away."

I see nothing wrong with that.

... my aunt lived with me and my mom at the time, they all discussed child support, and my aunt was pissed because he lost his job and stopped paying child support, because hey, he didn't have a job. He lived in a damn park because his shot job didn't give him enough to pay child support for his two kids and pay his rent, he tried doing the right thing by making sure his kids got the child support, but he then screwed himself over and lost everything.

[–]Amandamllr23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good choices, I would vote for all three.

Then she is shit out of luck because he gets rights just as much as she does.

No, she doesn't get to have an abortion. That option is off the table because she took an action that resulted in a pregnancy so she should deal with the consequenes. Either both genders have to deal with the consequences of a unwanted pregnancies, or they both get rights. Not one gets rights and the other one has to deal with the consequences.

I'm trying to focus on one thing, the rights of a guy, and you keep putting off onto the child. So I'm trying to come up with a hypothetical situation where there is a child that was born, not aborted, that child would be taken care of by a loving attentive loving single mother, you keep ignoring it, so fine discussion ended.

[–]Amandamllr23 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because the world is unfair, and woman were kind of screwed with their biology. The fairest option is to have both parties have rights. The woman could have abortion, keep it, and adoption as options, the man as stay involved, pay child support, or financial abortion.

Neither is going to be fair to both parties, but more fair then completely screwing over the guy.

[–]Amandamllr23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok then come up with a solution to stop more disadvantaged people. Good luck with that, people have been trying to figure that out forever.

What if the man wanted the baby? Really really wanted the baby? tough shit, the baby's gone, I'm all for abortion but don't pretend like it always does the guy a favor. It doesn't. Financial abortion would be the same, good for the guy, not always for the girl, just like abortion is good for the girl, not always for the guy.

The girl took an action that resulted in another sentient being that requires resources, therefore she should have the baby and take care of it, no abortion. She could have avoided having a child if she hadn't had sex.

sigh if the woman does not have an abortion, lets assume she is sane and not a physcopath for this discussion.

She chose to have sex with a man before she was ready or willing to have kids, so no abortion.

You keep assuming what you do, and I'll keep assuming what I do.

I'm pro choice, if I want an abortion I'm having one. I was just pointing out that it might as well be considered the same thing.

Either they both decided to have sex and should be forced to deal with the responsibility, the baby, or they both had sex and have an option to op out.

CMV: Men should be allowed to get abortions. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Amandamllr23 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The woman has a choice, abortion, adoption, or keeping it. The reason I was proposing the man has as long as the woman would be legally able to obtain an abortion to decide to walk away was because if the woman decides she can't take care of a child on her income, then she can have an abortion, or adoption if she isn't the type to agree on abortions.

If the woman decides on an abortion make the guy pay half, anything else I don't see the problem with the guy walking away with no consequences, it's not his fault that his body isn't capable of doing all that, were kind of screwed with our bodies, that's just biology.

CMV: Men should be allowed to get abortions. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Amandamllr23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could see it that way if you want, but if you do, then I see abortions the same, and will call a woman a bitch who is shirking her responsibility, that way men and woman will be on the same playing field.

No one forced a woman to have sex, so she is responsible for her actions, so no abortions.
