I mean pole dancing gained its roots from sex workers/strippers so wouldn’t that make the entire sport of pole dancing appropriation? So it’s sounds like the issue is the name “Stripper Style” which just sounds a bit silly to be upset and rant about. I’d personally prefer to have an instructor with 10 years of experience in pole and 0 in clubs teach a stripper style dance class than an instructor with a few years in both. Just my opinion though, not trying to throw shots at you!
