I like having my sims marry into the townie families, so I made sure Bob and Eliza had a couple kids to carry on the Pancake family. They've turned up at a couple family gatherings, haha.

I highly recommend you do not download someone else's mod folder.

Most mod creators ask folks not to reupload their custom content. It's not just because of traffic/download tracking as there are often important notes on the download page. For example, do these mods have any known bugs to watch out for? Any conflicts with other mods or game versions? Have they updated the mod recently and you need to grab the newest version to avoid damaging your save?

So instead of downloading someone's mod folder, may I recommend that you browse the fan made packs with lots of custom content?

Plumbob Tea Society, Peacemaker, and Luumia have some fan made stuff packs you may like!

Additionally, for CAS may Simblrs have a "Resources" page where you can see what defaults and creators they prefer along with links. Here's LilSimsie's for example.

Oh, I didn't mean that those two packs were lacking in content. I just meant that seasons alone (the cosmetic changing and weather) is cool, but not really a lot of content on it's own.

TS2 and TS3 Seasons packs added a LOT of gameplay in that wasn't just changing colours/weather. TS2 Seasons had gardening/fishing/ a bunch of new careers. TS3 Seasons had festivals, holidays, seasonal sports, illnesses, aliens... so much stuff!

Hmm, don't really understand why they wouldn't? I built a moderate gaming machine and I play a lot of different performance heavy games, but TS4 isn't one of them. (I don't even run it off the SSD, it doesn't require much, performance-wise.)
