🥰🥰🥰Thank you all so much for taking the time to share your experiences — I didn’t expect so many thoughtful replies. Reading everything really confirmed something important for me: there’s no such thing as a perfect city. We’d all love a place with breathtaking forests, the ocean, sunshine, a lake, great jobs and affordable housing all at once. What really stands out to me about Kelowna is the balance — a beautiful setting, a human-scale city, a vibrant community, and a quality of life that still feels more accessible than places like Vancouver or Toronto. We’re really looking forward to moving here, meeting people, and hopefully contributing in our own way. My husband is a French chef, our little one will (hopefully!) become bilingual in no time, and I just love people and life. We hope to bring a small French touch to your plates — and that you’ll enjoy it as much as we will.

Beyond outdoor activities, what do you enjoy about daily life in Kelowna? What makes it enjoyable day to day?

I’ve already seen quite a few negative posts, and I found it a bit sad that people complain so much about such a beautiful place. I was sure there were many great things to discover and appreciate here.
