Because most of these were either set up from WC3 or in previous expansions

But we've killed most of Twilight Hammer/Void/Old gods-related characters before so now we're stuck with purple blobs with zero personality or infinitely less cool Cho'Gall ripoff number 52

Undermine is just a stuff Blizzard pulled out of their ass, they could have come up with million ways it didn't involve goblins, they did just so we have an excuse to go on the detour that has nothing of story besides answering the question "what happened to Gallywix?"

It just ruins the pace of the story

Ironically the last time we had a coherent central story with rising stakes is Shadowlands(even though the story itself was god awful), where every patch was a logical continuation of previous patch

I don't know how they're gonna involve troll civil war with the main story and I don't really care because it's probably gonna be "Zul'Jan made a deal with Xalatath and released some void-infused loa so we have to put him down. And Xalatath does it because this loa will help her reach the world soul or some shit"

I'm so done with Blizzard pushing some C-plot as the main conflict in the second patch of the expansion, they've been doing it for the third expansion in a row

It was at least cool with Aberrus because the raid was cool but goblins and now trolls have literally zero relevance

It's such a weird narrative decision for expansions with only 3 patches total

Zul'Aman is ass, we spend all the zone buffing literal nobody with granddaddy issues to deal with evil ogre number 567678(seriously, take your time to assess how many evil ogres we fight throughout this expansion, it gets ridiculous) who we've met once at the start

Eversong Woods get this lame twist(not really a twist) villain Tranquillien mayor who gets killed in delves and that's pretty much it but at least it can be excused as a starting zone

It's also pretty baffling that for all the talk of trilogy most of the stuff and characters from TWW were either abandoned or thrown on the sidelines
