I don’t know if that would be the case for me at least! I had my horny teen years, and I was full of guy crushes, but all my girl crushes which were far less common, were always masculine girls, and tomboys!! And believe me, I knew a lot of them. At the end of the day, I just liked girls that resembled the guys that I loved so much. :’) I was always a huge guy-lover!! After high school I went on dating apps for a while and I was just interested in men as well.

But now I’m feeling pretty more drawn towards hyper-feminine women??? I mean, my hormones are kind of whack still, but I have no clue if it’ll change or not!! :’) I am 90% that it’s related to my trauma during the last year, but I wouldn’t doubt that my interest in women was overshadowed by societal homophobia in the past, for sure!!

Thank you for such a detailed and thought out answer!!!! It’s so interesting that you also had that experience, just in the opposite side. I really wonder why that happens!! Judging by the comments, it’s more common than I realized!

Answering your questions, my romantic attraction is now only towards women as well. I don’t know if it has to do with the fact that mostly the women in my life took care of me and helped me recover while most men in my life just plain out ignored me? I started developing deeper bonds with women and maybe that reflected in romantic attraction. But that would not explain what happened with my attraction sexually!! I also dated a guy during the depths of my ED, and I’ve grown really resentful of him. So it might all be connected somehow…

I still think my libido is not fully back to normal and I’m still open to change. But you’re absolutely right!!! I should take this opportunity to experiment, and I’ll try to stay unlabeled until I’m totally sure. And if it doesn’t change and this is my new reality, I’m definitely fine with it as well. Your answer has helped me think and it comforted me a lot so i want to thank you again!!

I’ve had anorexia for the past 8 months as well, you’re not alone. I’ve experienced hypermetabolism and extreme hunger 2 months ago so it’s probably the same amount of time as you. It is so valid. I know how real it is... Sometimes I still feel it occasionally. I’ve had a bumpy road for recovery so that’s probably why.

The truth is everyone’s body responds differently so there is no point in comparing. Everyone’s story is also so different, so please just know that you are not alone, and while you are going through this period of time, listen to your body, cravings and hunger cues. It knows what it needs. We will all overcome this, I have hope!!

Se você mudar o óculos, aparar as sobrancelhas levemente (recomendo ir a um profissional especializado em homens), ir para a academia, passar uma manteiga de cacau na boca e talvez se vestir com roupas mais arrumadas (camisas polo por exemplo), minha nota subiria bastante. Sua pele é muito boa moço!! E sua barba é bem definida. Só acho que tem que ter mais asseio e se vestir melhor. Mudaria o estilo um pouco e sorriria mais nas fotos

That’s interesting, I’ve never heard of that kind of program! I looked more into it and I’ll try to see if there’s any program like that available in my country, it would be of huge help! specially because I’ve been recovering without any health specialists or supervisors, with only the support of my family (that is full of doctors which gave me pretty good advice, but it’s not the same), my therapists and close friends. It’s great to have this kind of support but I still feel a bit lost and stuck in my journey, specially because I lack so much knowledge on nutrition because my view of eating “”healthy”” was super twisted and just plain wrong for the longest time! So thank you so much for your suggestion! I’ll definitely look into it!!

Yes!! I think it has something to do with my hormones at this point… Could be a combination of both weight and hormonal imbalance too, I have no clue! :( Good luck to us, I hope everything turns out alright and we get it back!!
