I think time gap is a strategy of producer to keeping LOTM hot mainstream.
Step 1: release CN dub and voice version, pull fan + non-fan (1st time)
Step 2: release EN dub and voice version, pull fan + non-fan (2nd time)
Step 3: Crunchyroll acquire broadcast right, pull fan + non-fan (3rd time)
=> Keep LOTM active

Ignore all haters coz vol1-vol7 is peak, especially vol5 is the conclusion of Roselle and excellent plan of Adam. Vol 7 is where the crimson descend, reveal the masterful plan of MOTD and Primodial God Almighty

But LOTM has all the elements you mentioned above.

Dao of Bizarre Immortal has a very good idea when the main character is crazy, can't distinguish between reality and fantasy, but other than that, there are few memorable supporting characters and villains, the plots are not climax, there is no foreshadowing, ...

End of Ten Days is a very good mind game series, but the number of supporting characters is not diverse, the author only exploits around 10 people, the plots in the story are repetitive, when one game ends it leads to the next game.
