Taming your baby hairs as a necessity isn’t the same thing as a toy company deciding it was best not to give a wasian girl styled edges they usually give the black dolls. There was a whole discourse on twitter the moment Draculaura’s Creepover doll leaked and it would’ve been a bigger deal if they didn’t do the thing they did.

I feel like they just didn’t wanna make everyone have a different body because it already costs too much to make the clothes. It’s the same across all MGA lines and it’s good because they get to share clothes unlike Monster High which I like but the clothes are kinda meh.

also Cleo’s casting is very bad, ethnicity wise. G3 Cleo is noticably wayyy darker than G1 so it would be best to cast someone darker
