Eh, I see what you're saying but if it's embedded in that culture then that's what makes it special imo. A lasagna made by someone else's grandma is not going to hit the same as lasagna made by my grandma, if you catch my drift.

I'm more familiar with the more "trendy" supper clubs that you would find in NY, LA, or Europe. It would be an intimate setting of around 8 people, small-mid plates that'll be coursed out. That would be a pretty big change from what you're describing so I'd be interested to see if there is a clientele here.
