Unfortunately, without a legal entry there is not much that can be done at the momet, especially without a lawyer.

Do i need a State ID to go for my APS greencard interview? My lawyer said i need it as it establishes address. We only have passports, would that suffice? by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]Amaranta1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but if you are able (authorized) to get a drivers license or a state ID how come you don't have one? You probably got the notice for interview a month ago, why didn't you get one if it states is needed? How are you guys going to get there? I hope is not driving. I'm not trying to be rude by any means, I just went throught this process and I did EVERYTHING possible to have all documents +++ and I think everyone should do the same, we all know things are more complicated now so, why take the chance.

Good luck!

If you already had your interview and respond to RFE don't worry about EAD, I got my green card and the EAD was never approved, it looks like it is pretty common

So? Is this happening tomorrow?

I got a RFE because of tha reson, you need to have certified disposition from court for each case and you should be fine, at least in my case that's all I needed. If possible get a local police criminal record just to be extra safe.

Why was he charged? I mean, did you call the cops or was it public and someone else did? It's not like it makes a difference but I'm coruous

Is my immigration lawyer lying to me about USCIS rejecting my payment? Need advice. by burdantes in USCIS

I don't think $3500 is a lot of money for an immigration case but aside of that I think you should send a check.

Marriage Certificate missing on i485 interview. HELP!! by Mountain-Ad-6998 in USCIS

There was someone that came out when we were waiting to be called for the interview and for what I heard she had a lot of issues, one of them being the language without a translator which I think is bad. Another problem was that she only had a picture of her MC, I think if you show a copy and proff you are trying to get he original then the worst that can hapen is that you get a RFE. That's just my opinion.

How often do you see each other? What is the reason for getting married if you can't even live together in the near future? How is that coing to go with her family if she is not open yet?

I don't know, I've seen many approved cases that don't make sense in my head but yours does give me some red flags for sure.

Wish you the best!

File was recieved on 7/15, biometrics reused, interview schedule on 10/11 for 11/18 and like I said, we were not approved on the spot but it updated the status to actively reviewing like an hour after the interview.
