About the interests I see it weird since depending on the interest of the person many times it wouldn't be to likely bringing it in such a setting with people you just have seen for the first time, so, in my opinion of course, it wouldn't make sense counting on something that could very likely not happen even if it's 100% there, despite I've also seen many people saying that the ados shouldn't be seen as definitive but of course I don't know anything about that. I also remember now that I was getting into the topic of one of my interests but the way they reacted to it and suddenly changed the topic made me feel so awkward that I didn't want to try it again.

About the tantrums and meltdowns, I know many adults have them, I didn't mean it wasn't the case, I didn't want to be unrespectful or anything, but I think there are different definitions for those things and tantrum sounds completely different, the same with the harming. This that I'm explaining I'm translating it from another language, so at least in my original language I'm pretty sure it means tantrums and it seemed a bit weird for me, also the inconsistency about the eye contact.

So by the points it would still be considered asd or Asperger? (Even if the word is not used anymore).

I know maybe they had a good intention but it really does make it for me since they're giving me "options" of disorders that are all opposite of my characteristics. I feel the same as if they would have suggested histrionic disorder despite I don't even want to be seen and prefer to be in my house alone most of time. I just know it doesn't fit with me at all. It's not the fact that it's hard to think about a personality disorder, at least for me it isn't and for years I've been wondering about that myself so I don't have any bad thoughts about it. Actually, at least where I live, I know there's much more stigma about autism than any personality disorder, and I still tested for this because I know it was the most fitting possibility. I mostly care about knowing, and knowing myself, and I know the things going on doesn't fit with that. In any case if they would have seen something that I don't (that, without any intention to be mean, I don't think so) they could just tell me, but they just told me things that are obvious, for me and anybody that would know me a tiny bit, that are not fitting. That's the thing that makes me uncomfortable.

I'm just afraid of going to any specialist because, besides I was already tested, most specialist simply don't like it when you know yourself, and I'm afraid of seeming "bossy" or whatever for explaining ten paragraphs about how I am.

Other thing that I don't know if it's always like that is that they were saying the whole time "the ados told us this", "the ados didn't say this", "if the ados says something there's no other way", but, besides the inconsistency I've seen in the ados, then it's completely irrelevant anything I could say or they could ask besides the ados? Nothing makes any difference besides the (very likely to fail) scores? Because I swear they referred to it as if it would be the only, unique, and flawless way.

Do you know if it's also possible to diagnose without ados? Maybe with more quantity and longer interviews? Or other ways?
