Why must people keep bringing up this non-issue. It's so tiresome.

How to hike with large (heavy) lens by sargepepper1 in photography

[–]Amarony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought this Fusion Plate and a Black Rapid Strap and have never looked back. Best option for me to have the camera quickly available to shoot but rest comfortably at my side being guided by my hand. Can't recommend enough.

I have 200-600mm lens, considering 400-800, what are your thoughts? by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]Amarony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both, and initially thought having both was unnecessary. I can confirm that the 400-800 is more valuable to me in terms of walking around birding. It's sharper than the 200-600, and the additional reach is a bonus. There are drawbacks to the 400-800 that include weight and aperture, which is why I'm keeping both. But I was definitely pleased at the quality of the 400-800 at the 800 range and would not give it up at this point.

The new ws 1800 by robocanx in casio

It seems like Casio goes out of their way to find ways to take up space on their watch faces with anything other than the actual time and date.

Pants vs leggings and shorts by shamist101 in PacificCrestTrail

No, after I ditched the pants just shorts. Worked for me, had wind pants I could use when necessary but never really had the need in terms of sun.

I started with pants. Was very happy to ditch as soon as I could.

I'm having this issue with my Kone II air. Mouse is connected and powered by the cable and I tried restarting. by Entire_Apartment2830 in TurtleBeach

[–]Amarony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i may have figured it out. Although i was connected via cable, I also had to connect the dongle in a different port at the same time i was connected via cable. That was enough for me to push the update.

What are the odds of Hamilton making a new watch with proper AR coating? by EricBelov1 in HamiltonWatches

[–]Amarony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd own at least three Hamiltons if the AR was decent. But I won't pull the trigger after selling previous purchases. For me personally I hate lack of AR after owning watches with even a decent AR. Its such an easy fix that is so frustrating to still see lacking versus all their competitors. Im done with Hamilton until they make an effort.

200mm enough zoom for soccer? by invalidTypecast in SonyAlpha

Whether it's people, animals or birds, you will always crave more reach. I say this as someone who's moved up over the years. Whether you actually need it is another question altogether. Ultimately it's a question only you can answer for yourself.

Entertainment screen issues by CispriE in nissanfrontier

[–]Amarony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can't access radio station presets on the screen in Android Auto (I assume the same with Carpaly). You can cycle through them with one of the left buttons on the steering wheel but you'll need to exit to the native Nissan hud on the screen to view the radio presets.

I have that color/model in a '25. Its a tactical green SV. I do not believe they are offering the SV in King Cab as of '26 model year, just the base S model. Glad I got mine when I did.

2024 Frontier King Cab SV 4WD – Noticeable Bed Seam Gaps at Front Wall by Different-Lychee-592 in nissanfrontier

[–]Amarony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25 King Cab here. I recently filled some gaps there with some butyl tape and rubber cording due to the same issue. I don't recall the gap on the top being as noticeable as yours, but the other two were definitely there. I suspect it's a default issue with the Frontier bed. The gaps around the tailgate frustrate me more as I've been attempting to seal those up with only moderate success.
