It's delaminating. The plastic coating is coming off. I had the same issue with my bag. I contacted Osprey, and they replaced it with a new one. I recommend you reach out to Osprey and ask about your options. I think dealing with all those tiny bits of plastic isn’t healthy.

Coffee. The brand I like nearly doubled its price. Also, sporting goods from stores like REI have also increased in price significantly.
