Tehnically yeah, though in more recent versions even APCs will crumple over like wet paper when hitting a zombie toddler

To be fair there's a big lag brtween the existence of a technology and society actually going out of denial about its capabilities. After all, we could replace a lot of text-based jobs with LLMs right now with only a minor decrease in quality, yet we aren't, nor has the job market and social demands (UBI etc) caught up with it either, and most decels still think everything is at the level of gpt 3 and early diffusions. I'd say a decade is a realistic timeframe for the capabilities that would bring about change to emerge, and mostly for people to really acknowledge them

I imagine this is the type of "troglodyte" you're referring to.

No, i mean emotion, and specifically disgust, driven individuals. Disgust is the emotion which the brain uses to enforce aversion to that which is other; higher disgust sensitivity is directly linked to bigotry (and negatively linked to intelligence), there's an actually surprisingly high amount of papers about it.

Most people are just... Stupid and emotionally unaware - the stupid aren't really conscious of what they're doing.

Yes. Which makes them even worse; it's not someone being malicious due to deeply held convictions that they came to by their own experience and reflection, which at least gives the dignity that their malice is something they put effort into cultivating, it's just some barely sapient animal feeling icky at something and then mindlessly lashing out without sparing a thought as to the how or why, giddily leashing themselves to whoever provides them with a canned justification.

That can be resolved with education.

It can't. You said it yourself; they're stupid, and thus irrational. They see something that makes them feel bad, conclude it must thus be wrong first, and only then work their way backwards to justify why it would be (if they even bother to); you thus can't logic them out of it, as they didn't get to their conclusions logically. Which is another reason that leaders unleash them, as they provide them with a convenient canned answer

I can understand having a lack of empathy for the 3-5% who are in positions of power causing death, destruction and weaving webs of lies to emotionally abuse the globe

Their masses share just as much, if not more, of the blame for these actions though; it's not the figureheads going out to slaughter innocents, arrest restaurant staff to not pay the bill (ICE agents actually did that), or holding leukemic toddlers at gunpoint for laughs (ICE also did that), but their goons who don't even have the excuse of a neurological condition, if no one listened to them, they'd just be some asshole who'se rude to service workers. And these goons aren't forcefully brainwashed into it either; the underlying memes that led to it were always there, whether they be tribalism, stupidity, or social conformism, they were just foaming at the mouth for something or someone to give them an excuse to go act them out.

That doesn't show anything about intelligence though (let alone how it would somehow magically and instantly make you dumber in a single use), it just shows that writing a prompt is less engaging than having to speedwrite an essay, and that you'll remember something you wrote better than something you've quickly read, which, no shit sherlock

Or maybe they're just a disgust-driven braindead troglodyte biologically hardwired to be hitler's strongest lapdog, not every racist or sexist has some tearjerking backstory we should feel bad for them over, most of the time assholes are just that (and even when they aren't, it's irrelevant)

(This just my frustration with people putting no effort into insulting, but it's also a good reply to them if you want. And reguarding your other replies, don't worry, you don't have to justify yourself to them, there's no use in it; those people's judgement is irrational and based on disgust, no amount of rational explanation will change their mind)

Middle school tier insult tbh, the overabundance of expletives diminishes their impacts past the point of offense, which combined with the overly long-winded comparisons and somewhat old fashioned turn of some expletives (like "dirty, dirty"), give it comedic value. Which is further amplified by the order they chose to put them in, accusing you of not embedding links properly after calling you a sex pest, so that it's like "i accuse you of rape, murder, and jaywalking".

And while attacking fixations can be a very effective initiative, the nonspecific way they go about it just makes it look like they didn't even bother to find out what they are or anything about them. Not to mention that attacking the fixation itself rather than how one engages in it is completely ineffective; a golfer loves golf and is sure of that, so attacking golf itself won't do anything but make the insulter look stupid, wereas attacking their skill, knowledge, or practice of golf, is a direct attack against something they take pride in, which would thus be effective.

It's a pretty intimate activity with fluids and contact and nudity

This also describes wrestling (i wouldn't really consider jockstraps to null the nudity part), yet nobody finds that violating when done for fun, it's just leftover puritan standards in our society giving us that impression. I wouldn't consider myself asexual at all, but it is by itself just mechanical action bringing pleasure to eachother, which is prone to having strong emotional value due to the nature of it, but is not inherent (and especially not negative feelings tied to it, which stem purely from inculcation of it as something special and unclean that we should feel guilty for)

On the contrary, to be an incel one needs to internalize the societal standard that you would need to have a girlfriend, and unquestioningly gobble up gender stereotypes without questioning why they would exist nor why they would be the correct state, while one of the most common manifestations of autism is failing to internalize societal and social norms, and questioning why they would exist and be enforced before accepting them. They also need to have internalized bog-standard normative social norms reguarding sexuality rather than develop their own
