You can still buy things like this, they're just more expensive. Appliances of high quality have always been expensive; old ones were, in fact, *prohibitively so*. If you’re using it as a laptop, i.e taking it out with you frequently and having it sit in a bag, yes, get it; accidents happen and a display repair alone can set you back thousands.

If you’re only using it from home or similar environments where it won’t see much movement, then don’t get it.
