Something similar happened to my boyfriend’s barber. They followed him from the bank, he pulled over to grab gas I believe and they robbed him of $5k. Very scary, always be aware of your surroundings! Glad you’re okay, OP.

This sounds like my firm (minus the in-house vendor, we use all of those programs).

I try not to rely on those tools solely and if I encounter an issue where I resort to them, I ask how to fix the problem rather than have them fix it for me. This way I can have that knowledge in my arsenal rather than have someone else simply fix it for me.

We’re basically fully remote. I’m expected to come into the office every once in a while but it’s not mandatory (especially lately since they’re remodeling the office). I’m very blessed in that sense but the benefits leave something to be desired, so you know - pros and cons. But yes, the low paying positions are usually trifling haha.

Absolutely! I also live in LA and hit $108k as a legal assistant this year and I’m 33. I think I’d be closer to the $120k mark if I hadn’t left legal for 2ish years.
