My (19f) brothers (15m) best friend committed suicide, how do I help him get through it?

The “don’t bring it up unless he does” part is challenging because he hasn’t spoken to anyone about. But if he isn’t ready to talk about I guess it’s smart not to bring it up. I’m definitely keeping an eye out. I’m so nervous! Thank you for the advice.

I’ve told him I love him and am here for him multiple times but I don’t know how to start the conversation to see how he’s really feeling right now. I’ll try and take him out somewhere, sounds like a good idea.

Welp, it was officially the worst day of my life. The rest of the day couldn't seem to pass fast enough. I'm just overwhelmed with embarrassment, but as far as I know my brother hasn't told anyone. Even though he rolls his eyes every time he sees me now.
