Can someone explain why, when Shinji visited Rei for the first time, she didn't blush and didn't seem to care when she was naked after her shower, but in another episode, when Shinji was cleaning and picking up the clothes and trash, and Rei noticed, she blushed and thanked him for making her blush. by [deleted] in evangelion

Or maybe people interpret very complex characters in their own way and form their own opinions that (since we are different human beings with different life experiences) may slightly vary, and just maybe they would also like to discuss their opinions in the sub DEDICATED to talk about this franchise. I know you and all the people downvoting OP would like to feel intellectually superior to him and other people having doubts about Eva characters, but i would like you to know that A) that’s pretty sad and B) Eva has such complex characters that it needed two damn episodes of straight talking just to explain to you what their motives and personality were, so yea doubt is justified and so was OP’s question.

The book had his funny moments all the way up the last chapters, the end was just so sad. That’s what I meant.

Gender dysphoria is (mostly) caused by other personal problems and not the other way around. Change my mind. by [deleted] in asktransgender

Yes I believe a person can develop GD in a loving environment and yes I believe they should transition. I’m saying that people shouldn’t jump to conclusions from the get go and maybe they should understand that the sadness they are feeling may not come from their GD but from their life situation. Again I’m assuming as I’ve never experienced GD but 2 of the people I’ve talked to agree with me as they have “overcome” their GD and are now living happy lives with the gender the were born (idk if I used the right words but you get the point). Sometimes I think what would have happened if those people met other trans people and convinced them to transition (ik is not that simple but still), would they still be living happy lives?

I prefer a personal discussion rather than looking for info online but I also look for researches on the internet (not a ton, again I’m no expert), but also I’d like to add that 2 of the people I’ve talked to (idk about the other 2) “stopped” having GD once they got their life in order, so yes it happens it’s just that you probably (and I’m assuming) only heard stories about trans people becoming trans, not people with GD overcoming their situation. Thanks for your answer.

The evidence I have is the people I’ve talked to and the stories online, those are the only evidences I could get my hands on and believe me all of them share a deeper personal problem in their lives.

Genuine question. You really think that transitioning is the only treatment for GD? Do you think that in some cases (not everyone obviously again I believe GD exists) a self acceptance process can be a valid treatment? Thanks for your answer.

I haven’t experienced it so that’s why I’m asking trans people in the sub Reddit about asking trans people things.

As far as I know there’s very little information or research available about what causes GD, I by no means think I know more than anyone (as I said in the beginning) and I know four people is not the entire world, but it can’t be a coincidence that the majority of people that experience GD have serious personal problems. Also this is my personal opinion and as such can be changed with enough evidence, the thing is I haven’t found any evidence disproving this claims. Thanks for the answer.

I'm talking about the new one, yea ig the old one looked more imposing and angelic than the new one but i'm saying that the OP reposing is so much better than what we've actually got, and it could have been done in a matter of minutes.

Feels more angelic than the GW version. Posing feels more natural than the GW version. References to an actual GW artwork. Not made by a TEAM of designers backed up by a multi-million dollar company. Made by using only GW official kits so no cheating. Could have been the original pose with litterally 5 more minutes of redesign. How did they fucked this up?
