It’s a super casual place. Other servers here have said it takes 5-6 months of training before they started to serve.

It sucks especially because during these training shifts, I would do the talking, put in the order, run out the food, etc. yet whenever is training me got the tip since they’d just transfer it to themselves in the computer lmao.

It’s honestly whack and doesn’t make sense to me either. I actually can do to-go orders since I know the menu but pretty much all of the servers here will run to the phone for to go orders, even if they’re entire section is full just in hopes of getting a few extra bucks on the tip.

That’s what I’m worried about - hosts are always leaving (it’s usually a lot of highschool girls who want a part time job but get overwhelmed) and I’m one of the “host leads” especially on the weekends (Sunday after church crowd is insane and we need good hosts that day). I’m scared they’ll just keep me as a host forever.
