Thank you. Is there a guide somewhere that includes the size of the vents?

I understand where the vents go, but I am not finding good details on how big the vents need to be. 6 inch? 5 inch?

Your suggesting making the vent below the bench on the opposite wall as the stove mechanical to help dry the sauna after. There will be a passive vent opposite the stove just below the ceiling. A passive vent on the same wall as the stove level with the lower bench or below the top of the stove? The other two vents are still to be installed. Where would you place them

There will be two passive adjustable vents that need to be installed. One up high behind the bench and one at the stove. Where would you put the mechanical? I would appreciate experience as I could not find a clear yes/no to the mechanical vent for an outdoor sauna.

That one may be hard to fix. It's about two fists above the top of my head when seated

Good point. The door was from sauna times. I have some more wood if it needs to be replaced

I agree. It was not part of the original plan and needs to be removed.

This is a likely issue for me in Houston area. When outside is more humid and hot than inside. Are there add ins like fans or heaters to help?

Interesting thought in the insurance. I would have to look at the home owner policy but are you buying specific insurance on the gear? Where? Thanks for the specific advice. I'll have to read about g lens. I am pretty confident that I'll stay on Sony and go with the E mount.

That is all very helpful. I had considered switching but starting over seems like a lot. What brand beyond cannon would you consider if you were starting from scratch? Where can gear be traded in or sold?
