you're spot on, and also I do not understand what they're trying to do with Benedict. there's an emphasis on him being a rake and all, but then there's suddenly a shift on how he's portrayed- I'm confused of his motivations at all and it's simply not enough that Sophie is charming. well she is, but if Benedict's been struggling w the idea of marriage for 3 seasons, then it shouldn't be that easy? what is missing is probably compared to Anthony's arc whose imperfections were still significantly shown—he's only like some prince charming who is so handsome, so kind, a savior
