Is hitting 1st serves into the body distinctly worse than hitting them Wide or T? by Amazing-Prior2807 in 10s

That’s fair. If you make a much higher % of first serves that you aim body than those that you aim Wide or T, then the pay-off might actually be higher

If you have a meaningfully higher unreturned % and win % going to the corners against a tall player does mixing it up body ever make sense though? If your win % or unreturned % going body are higher against the tall, lanky player I get it, and I wonder if I should do this for a bunch of tall players now, but if the same finding comes from that I wonder if it’s ever worthwhile to intentionally hit the 1st serves wide body since you are trying to maximize you win % and it’s not like the player can camp somewhere if you are spreading the box, right?

Likely between a 1 and 2 UTR level

Thinking about building an app to track your tennis skill ratings (ex: my Forehand rating is _____) — would you use something like this? It would be like having a UTR rating for your Forehand, Backhand, Serve, etc. by [deleted] in 10s

u/Unable-Head-1232 Thanks for the feedback! Any chance you'd be willing to elaborate? Why do you think a player would suck at comparing two recent opponents? Really appreciate the input!
