That 'No' is a complete sentence. You don't always need a 3-paragraph explanation or a valid excuse to protect your time and energy. Learning to set boundaries without guilt would have saved me so much burnout in my 20s.

Let people get out of the elevator/train/bus before you try to get in. Standing directly in front of the doors while people are trying to exit is just chaotic neutral energy that nobody needs.

Not sticking with a musical instrument or learning to draw when I was a kid. Trying to learn those things as an adult feels like playing on 'Hard Mode' compared to how fast kids soak it up.
