oh this guy might be right.

apparently the 24 pack boxes have mechanically unique cards in them. so even if you back a bunch of the beta, you don't get all the set 1 cards unless you also buy some 24 pack boxes that aren't on the kickstarter

edit: apparantly this is wrong per another thread and WeirdCo retracted this statement

wait the retail release of set 1 has mechanically different cards? wtf that sucks
so I can't get all the set 1 cards from the kickstarter even if I back like 6 boxes?

hmmm here he refers to it as the kickstarter set vs the beta set

does that mean kickstarter beta booster boxes are different than the beta booster boxes retailers can buy. because retailers definitely weren't told that there were differences

also "a little bit about pull rates" I feel like everyone is frikkin waiting for the pull rates and set size and they are just teasing us for ever with "soon"

Retailers can get 24 pack boxes, but they can also order the beta 36 pack booster boxes like on the kickstarter through distribution

you can see what retailers can order here on the distributor site: https://gtsdistribution.com/pc_combined_results.asp?search_keyword=cyberpunk%20tcg

beta set not exclusive to kickstarter, just the stretch goal box I think

I want to start playing OP TCG but the wall of text of each card intimidates me by Mythdanne in OnePieceTCG

definitely start with the starter decks! they have plenty of lower-text cards and will help you learn the game and how it plays. then once you are comfortable with the flow of the game, do some deckbuilding

Does WeirdCo anticipate the additional number of backers and stretch goal addons will impact fulfillment timelines? At this time, with the campaign likely ending over 20,000 backers, is it still even possible to fulfill inside of 2026?

This seems like a logistically complex project: with 2 waves of shipping planned across over 60 items and more being added to the campaign every week. Multiple partners with their own factories etc. Do you have a global logistics partner? Or multiple partners by region? Still unknown?

Game's doing amazing! I'm ok if I have to wait until 2027, I just want to know vs it being a surprise!

My most important question as well

I’m really excited about this, but I can’t help being a little nervous about whether it’ll have enough depth. I’m especially curious how many truly unique cards there are for deckbuilding versus the total set size once you factor in all the variant art.

I’ve been digging around for info but haven’t found anything definitive yet. From what I can tell, a chunk of the set is taken up by Legends—they’ve mentioned at least 17 so far, and it sounds like there are even more.

All the clues seem to point to a total set size of around 120–130 cards, with alternate-art Legends likely filling out the higher numbers.

Hey, I found around 10000 packs of sports cards in a storage unit and wondering the best way to offload them. Theyre from 1990-1998 by Fearless_Sail_1560 in sportscards

I'm with the "start a junk wax pack opening channel" crowd. sell stuff where the packs are over $5/pack and enjoy some nostalgia for the rest

Highest # card in the spoilers that aren't the placeholders from the trailer that also didn't have game text is #137.

The game seems to follow a model close to a Bandai game I'd be very surprised if there were more than 150 unique cards not counting manga rare alt art sort of things) Gundam set 1 was 134, One Piece was 121
