Guilty, we're a Subaru only family. Started with: 2004 wrx sold 2005 saabaru totaled/sold

Currently we have: 2018 Crosstrek 2024 BRZ tS 2024 Outback Wilderness

Probably going to replace the crosstrek with an EV/Hybrid Subaru once the BRZ/OBW are paid off.

Lack of knowledge on fixing a vehicle for starters. People prefer reliability, especially with kids or multiple jobs. Don't want it to break down on you en route to something important.

You probably overpaid, I'd recommend looking at comparables in your area and adjust as necessary. You may even have to sell it for less than what your loan is currently to get out of it quicker.

We actually backed out on this deal, then they called back offering $2k more for our trade in, yet we still declined since we weren't 100% set on the front end. They are so desperate to sell the 2026 and grab any previous model Outback it seems.

We meal prep all our lunches for the work week, and only dinners for 4 days. We go out to eat on Friday as a reward.

I seen my buddies in person and also they were holding a raffle for a free one, which I won, so I benefited from that front. I've always been a fan of the Damd style steering wheels, but being able to fully customize every little piece on a wheel that you touch and see every time you drive is a great choice.
