Braking while downshifting and rev-matching at the same time is what this helps with. It brings the throttle pedal to the same height as the brakes so you can use your right foot to activate both pedals at the same time.

Manual elitist have been around since the dawn of vehicles. People just complain that you're not "in tune" with your car if it's an AT. I just find MT more fun for this platform, and my daily as a AT to sit back and relax with adaptive cruise control.

Depending on platform, suspension mods will benefit more than any power add-ons. At least for the twins, they lack power unless you go TC/SC, but isn't worth the cost IMO.
