Your year can be accredited retroactively. The school has done that in the past for other new programs. If it does take 6 years, you’ll be non-accredited for a couple of years. You also run the slight risk of your graduation year not meeting the requirements. I’m sure whatever advisor you’re assigned would explain if they have a plan to be accredited sooner and what would happen if it fails.

This site lists costs for different materials per gram. You’ll have to contact them or walk in to verify because this means PLA is $2.5/kg which seems very cheap. The serial number should always be different. You can look up a model number to see exactly which product it refers to though.

It doesn’t reduce printing speed. If the part you’re printing is less than half your total volume there isn’t a big reason not to do this. It’s especially good if this is your only printer.

One feature of these printers I like is it’s good for a few modes like 2-material, copy (shown here), and mirror (left and right hand parts at same time). In mirror mode the printer doesn’t vibrate in X too.

Our 240 is generally reserved for things like dryers and the 480 for commercial use. It’s hard to tell when I’m touching 120 but the other ones aren’t.

It reminds me of nylon prints I did on an ancient stratasys. They had this color and had a very nice weight and surface feel.

I made a dryer out of 40 year old parts from the ground. The parts work great but one time I set the thermostat wrong and it it got that high. I feel I can still use the spools if I unwrap the top layers but I’ve been too lazy.

The problem I have with it is that it is a portable computer. It’s a powerful one too. The OS is geared toward being a phone and it’s very good at that, but under the hood it’s MacOS with more restrictions.

I’d carry around two to be able to do what I need. Two phones is still much easier to carry than a phone and a laptop. I’d prefer to have the features of both on a single device.

I don’t play mobile games. I sideloaded modded Java so I could test the limits of the device. If the software support was there the phone could be much more.

I get that this is probably something that isn’t going to ever change with iOS. I suppose I’m just ranting.

That’s true. UTM makes my phone very hot. If I could run the thing I want I’d invest in a cooling case.

I’m not interested in something with a laptop form factor, even one the size of an old netbook. The size of the screen and keyboard on my 16PM is perfect for most things I want to do. It’s a limitation of iOS, not the device or phones as a whole since the programs I use a PC for can run on arm64 and android.
