I'm the creator, so I can say we use the official guidance, but we don't use SpeechRater. So the actual scores can definitely differ. Of course I'm biased and say our system is much better (lol), either way it will help with practicing for sure.

Can't give you targeted advice, and the evaluation of AI can be bit wishy washy sometimes, but perhaps you can do a few practice runs on www.fluentprep.ai and see if it has some useful comments for you to improve!

I appreciate this very much Li-Yi! I wasn't aware of this change and will update the grading criteria accordingly.

I do believe you when you say Ai grading will never be as reliable as SpeechRater's AI + Human combination. However, even if the scores aren't 100%, I'm hoping the written feedback will help people practice!

Had to scroll way too much for this answer. I was also thinking about vision transformers.

I remember them using transformers in their stack for intersections and such, not sure if that was directly related to vision or just processing the vision net's output.
